Northern soul & 50s Rock n Roll inspired second studio album from the UK’s The Computers.¬†The Computers started out as a hardcore / rock n roll hybrid and have built a strong fanbase across Europe through excessive touring over the last couple of years in true punk style. They’ve toured with tons of bands such as The Duke Spirit, Jim Jones Revue, Hundred Reasons, Alexisonfire, Subways and Pulled Apart By Horses. This new album is a huge leap forward in terms of the sound, songwriting and style of the band, which will expand their audience and really take them to the next level.

A confrontational slice of indie splendor, Civil War is a game changing tune for the Edinburgh band who first grabbed attention in 2012. Properly heralding the much-discussed return of guitar music, this is a blistering pop song driven by lyrical and instrumental brilliance. The first single from their second album, again produced by Paul Savage (The Delgados, Franz Ferdinand, Arab Strap, Mogwai, Teenage Fanclub) at the hallowed Chem 19 studios, Civil War shows a growing maturity from these young rock recruits barely into their 20s.
