Artist: Various Artists
Release: Pope Francis, Wake Up!
Label: San Paolo
Genre: Inspirational – Christian

An exceptional collection of 11 tracks, ranging from Gregorian to rock, from Latin to Contemporary with eclectic shades, containing antiphons and sacred hymns of the Christian musical tradition, reimagined by contemporary composers and some excerpts of Pope Francis’ speeches directly from Radio Vaticana Sound Archives.
The Pontiff, in the Album, addresses universal issues, discussed in his catechesis and encyclicals, such as Peace, Nature, Poverty, Faith, Family…

Artist: Fufanu
Release: Few More Days To Go
Label: One Little Indian

“It is an entirely new band, even though it feels the same,” considers ‘slyph-like’ singer, Kaktus. “There was no certain moment when we realized that this was our sound. We just liked what we were doing and kept experimenting. From Roskilde Festival 2013 onward, the idea of a new sound for us was born – although leaving techno was not the outcome we imagined. We started to write new music with more live instruments, but still kept on using all of our synths and drum machines. It all happened really naturally.”

Artist: Skies
Release: If You Feel Like It
Label: LAB Records
Genre:  Indie Pop

SKIES released their eagerly anticipated debut EP ‘If You Feel Like It’ via LAB Records on 27 November 2015. Drawing comparison to the likes of CHVRCHES, The 1975 and Paramore, SKIES deliver huge choruses and honest lyrics amongst their unique blend of addictive indie synth pop. Preceded by singles ‘Feel Like It’ and ‘Leave Me,’ the band showcase a rockier edge, whilst retaining their trademark anthemic singalong choruses.

These are sent to our thematic channels on multiple video platforms. Our thematic channels are genre specific to your content.

You need to speak to your channel manager to set this up, once the function is activated, these are the steps to follow for pack shot creation:

Video scheduling

Have you ever wondered the best time to schedule your content? Well now with YouTube analytics, you can strategically monitor the interactivity around your content for better viewing and engagement, giving your content the best chance of success.

Our aim is to make your content go live just before your audience arrives to the channel, which will ensure the video appears in subscriber feeds, and be the latest video in the video uploads tab for non-subscribers. This will give the video the best chance of being viewed, and will also have a better chance of having a positive influence on YouTube’s algorithm. This is due to having a larger number of engaged viewers, which will lead to an increase in the video’s ranking in SEO.

Looking at the example channel analytics below, we would want to schedule our videos to go live in position A on a weekly basis, as this is just before the largest amount of weekly audiences arrive on the channel. If we uploaded at Position B, we would miss the opportunity to have the video available to when the largest amount of audiences arrive on the channel.example analytics

If you require any assistance using your YouTube analytics, please get in touch with your Video Channel Manager.

Currently being recorded and mixed at the studios at Relentless at Number Five on London’s Denmark Street, the EP #SixFiveThree is a high-energy project which remains synonymous with both Ghetts and Rude Kid’s strong, individual identities and experimental musical styles.

One of the cornerstone producers within the underground grime scene, Rude Kid showcases his perfectly balanced production style on #SixFiveThree, combining the traditional staple grime sound with experimental sounds, funky house and dub step. Rude Kid’s polished beats act as a solid backdrop for Ghetts’ inimitably energetic and moody performance. We’re very pleased to announce that Sonic Cathedral will be releasing a live album by one of our favourite bands, Disappears, on November 20. What’s more, it’s a recording of them performing David Bowie’s classic 1977 album ‘Low’ in its entirety, mastered by Sonic Boom. It will be available as a download and on limited edition orange vinyl, housed in a stunning seethrough PVC sleeve, complete with the tracklisting on a sticker, as an homage to the original.

Artist: Artificial Intelligence
Release: Timeline
Label: Metalheadz
Genre:  Dance – Drum & Bass

Artificial Intelligence- Timeline is finally here, it’s their first album released on Metalheadz and it’s their most accomplished work to date.

A mature, confident long player that when listening you can’t help but feel is ‘potential achieved’ and a genuine pleasure to be releasing via the label.

The aesthetic of the album harks back to early AI material. It’s full of soul but at hints at darker moments amongst its beauty. The palette of the project draws on classic era Jungle and goes as far back as Chicago house but in its entirety it’s much more than that; they are just some of the influences to be found on an expansive album that ticks many boxes.

Believe Digital’s UK General Manager Lee Morrison has raised over three thousand pounds for Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation & War Child UK.

November, 18th 2015 12:34

Believe UK’s Lee Morrison cycled 244 miles across various UK cycling events this summer, including RideLondon 2015, London to Brighton Bike Ride 2015, and The Etape du Sussex Cyclosportive 2015. Pedalling his way around the country, Lee managed to raise an outstanding £3,222.95, which has gone towards his chosen charitable organisation, Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation (LNADJ).

Lee Morrison said of the achievement, “I feel very proud to have raised so much for such a worthy cause and I would like to thank everyone that donated their hard earned cash, it certainly spurred me on in the final miles of RideLondon.”

The Brighton-based music foundation LNADJ will be donating proceeds to War Child UK, who strive to aid the children affected by war across the Middle East and Africa. The money Lee has raised will go directly to children in Jordan, to help provide them with support and education following conflict they may have been exposed to in Syria.

Jonny Lee, the founder of Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation, said of Lee’s accomplishment, “All at LNADJ are very grateful for the massive personal, physical challenge Lee Morrison undertook. He leads by example to show others in the industry what a difference we can all make through supporting the Last Night A DJ Saved My Life Foundation and the many causes we support. Focusing this campaign on children in conflict zones is something that is very close to many people’s hearts and no doubt the £3,222.95 will positively effect many children’s lives.”

Frankie Stevens, Trust Fundraising Executive at War Child UK said “We intend to use Lee’s donation towards our ongoing work in Jordan, supporting refugee children and their families both in Zaatari Camp and among the host communities of Irbid. The programme focuses on running a number of Child Friendly Spaces and delivering our specialist DEALS methodology, which uses structured cycles of group based psychosocial support to help children manage the trauma they have experienced and continue their learning.”

Within Jordan and the Zaatari refugee camp, Lee’s efforts will contribute towards a range of resources for the children; this includes packs of winter clothing, books for the camp, back-to-school kits and the build of a sustainable child friendly space.

Believe New Releases 13/11/2015

November, 13th 2015 09:05

Artist: Bjork

Release: Vulnicra Strings
Label: One Little Indian
Genre: Alternative

The original string version of ‘Vulnicura’ layered the boom and crack of electronic beats with an intense vocal melody and incredible string arrangements by Björk, which have been performed live with a fifteen chair orchestra. The new version is musically wholly compromised of strings, with new violin solos by Una Sveinbjarnardóttir and strings records by a Viola Organista. Björk used the only ‘Viola Organista’ in the world to perform some of the arrangements; an instrument which was designed originally by Leonardo Da Vinci but not built until after his lifetime.

Artist: Chrome Sparks
Release: Parallelism
Label: Future Classic
Genre:  Dance

Chrome Sparks is the solo project of Brooklyn US artist Jeremy Malvin. In 2014 Malvin signed to the taste making Sydney based label Future Classic. Under the new label, he rereleased Sparks EP and released the Goddess EP. His next EP, Parallelism is slated to be released with Future Classic on November 6. Moonraker is the lead single.

Inspired by a background in classical percussion and an obsession with synthesizers, Malvin creates dazed, melodic beat-centric tunes that loosely hang between down-tempo head nodders and up-tempo club bangers.

Artist: Bo Rocha
Release: Even Green
Label: Bait & Switch Records
Genre: Alternative

Bo surfaced in early 2015 after uploading her first track ‘Tangerine Flake’ to Soundcloud, a misty and intoxicated finger-click jam which now opens the EP. It was soon followed by the haunting thump of ‘Angel Eyes’ in April, a harder and heavier track, packed with gnarly synths and Bo’s far-reaching vocals, which Noisey described as, “a banger that is making eye contact with you the second it walks through the door.” Both songs won praise from NME, Wonderland, TLOBF, Clash, Disco Naiveté and more.

Artist: Gnarwolves
Release: Adolescence
Label: Tangled Talk Records
Genre:  Alternative

Today Gnarwolves announce the release of their first collection of new material since last year’s debut self-titled album, with their third EP Adolescence to appear through Big Scary Monsters/Tangled Talk Records on 13th November 2015. To coincide with this announcement, the band have released the self-shot clip for lead off track ‘The Waiting Line’. The video sees the band at home, well, as good as, the van.

Believe New Releases 6/11/2015

November, 6th 2015 09:00

Artist: The 2 Bears

Release: The Night Is Young
Label: Southern Fried Records
Genre: Dance

A year after The 2 Bears served up their latest and greatest full length, Southern Fried Records revisit its brilliant constituent parts and have a fantastic roster of producers remix them. Label favourites old and new all feature, as well as plenty of stars from across the electronic spectrum, and the resulting album is a treasure trove of contemporary dance brilliance.

Up first, up and coming German producer and DJ Emanuel Satie flips ‘Get Out’ into a big, bouncy and playful house cut with old school drums and colourful piano stabs. Then comes Glasgow’s Poisonous Relationship with his Journey To Hell Dub of ‘Angel (Touch Me)’, a skittish, restless cut full of incendiary filter action and off kilter hits and chords.

Artist: Sim Hutchins
Release: I Enjoy To Sweep A Room
Label: No Pain In Pop
Genre:  Experimental

“marks him as a peer of Four Tet, Thom Yorke, and Andy Stott” – Stereogum

Sim Hutchins, a producer and video artist from North West Essex UK, releases his debut album ‘I Enjoy To Sweep A Room’.

Though it stylistically references techno, IDM and ambient-drone, the album could be said to be genre-blind, avoiding any easy classification. It takes an outsider approach to composition, firmly the work of an artist operating on the peripheries of the medium.

Artist: London Elektricity
Release: Are We There Yet?
Label: Hospital Records
Genre: Drum + Bass

Are We There Yet? is the sixth studio album from London Elektricity out on the 6th November on his own nineteen-year-old label Hospital Records.

Over 14 tracks Are We There Yet? combines beautiful chord progressions recorded from his own Steinway piano – a family heirloom passed down through generations – with perfect vocal harmonies from Tony himself, Emer Dineen, Pete Simpson and a welcomed return of award-winning jazz singer Lianne Carroll all underlain with rolling percussion and enveloping bass lines.

Artist: Border Scout
Release: The Nature Of Things
Label: Border Scout Recordings
Genre: Alternative

The Nature Of Things takes you on soundtracked journeys across landscapes, with electronic rhythms, stirring vocals, and soulful themes. Border Scout’s ability to seamlessly combine genres and textures contributes to the overall dynamic depth of the album.

Part soundtrack, part concept album, part cathartic redemption, The Nature Of Things is the culmination of a worldwide journey for two lost souls, swimming in a fish bowl.
