saint saviourArtist: Saint Saviour
Release:  In The Seams
Label: Surface Area
Genre: Pop – Singer Songwriter

‘In The Seams’ is the stunning second album from Saint Saviour – the solo project of Becky Jones, previously lead singer with The RGBs and who fronted and co-wrote the singles on Groove Armada’s Grammy nominated album ‘Black Light’.

Collaborating on this new album with Bill Ryder-Jones (The Coral), it is a marked departure from her 2012 debut ‘Uncut’ – stripping back and laying bare the beautiful song-craft of an artist clearly in her prime. The result is a selection of twelve delicate and heart-felt, folk-infused tracks woven into ‘In The Seams’ – full of lush strings, softly plucked guitars and tender vocals.

The JacquesArtist: The Jacques
Release: pretty DJ
Label: 25 Hour Convenience Store
Genre: Alternative – Indie Rock / Alternative Rock

The Jacques are the bastard teenage love child of cockney guitar pop and just about anything that came out of New York during the early ‘00s. Two sets of brothers, all 16-21, they charge with their Britpop bayonets against the modern view that rock and roll with clever lyrics is dying. Brought up on a diet of The Strokes, The Ramones, The Jam, The Lemonheads and Elvis Costello, they brought their own brand of noisy pop punk to festival stages across the summer, most recently at Hyde Park in London, where they supported The Libertines.

Believe Releases The Official Poppy Appeal Single By Joss Stone Feat. Jeff Beck

RBL Poppy Appeal Single

Along with partner Kartel, Believe Digital is thrilled to have been selected by The Royal British Legion (RBL) to support the release of this years’ lead asset throughout RBL’ s media campaign supporting the Poppy Appeal, the official single chosen and specifically recorded by Joss Stone and Jeff Beck, ‘No Man’s Land (Green Fields Of France)’.

The Royal British Legion is the UK’s leading service charity providing care and support to serving members of the Armed Forces, veterans of all ages and their families.  The Poppy Appeal is the Legion’s biggest fundraising campaign, last year raising £39 million with a target of £40 million for the 2014 Appeal. This year marks the one hundredth anniversary since the beginning of the First World War; the historic centenary is to be commemorated by a four-year programme of national acts of remembrance, UK-wide cultural initiatives and educational opportunities.

‘No Man’s Land (Green Fields Of France)’ was written  in 1976 by Scottish born folk singer-songwriter Eric Bogle. Its chorus refers to two famous pieces of military music, ‘The Last Post’ and ‘The Flower of the Forest’.

The Royal British Legion’s Director of Fundraising, Charles Byrne said: “This is a wonderful tribute, inspired by two of our country’s greatest musical talents, Joss Stone and Jeff Beck. In partnering with Believe’s extensive digital distribution network and Kartel’s expertise in project management and physical distribution, we have every confidence the single will be a great success.”

Released as a joint-project, both Believe Digital and Kartel are working alongside The Royal British Legion to distribute the single digitally and physically. The 2011 Poppy Appeal single ‘Wherever You Are’, performed by the Military Wives topped the charts with over seven hundred thousand copies sold both digitally and on CD. Last year’s single was ‘The Call (No Need To Say Goodbye)’ by The Poppy Girls.

Lee Morrison General Manager UK & SVP Rights Management Believe Group commented: “We are thrilled to be working alongside the prestigious Royal British Legion and close business partners Kartel on this momentous campaign for a truly great cause. We’re honoured to help deliver a brilliant single from Joss Stone and Jeff Beck, one which will contribute hugely towards RBL’s Poppy Appeal and commemorate a significant one hundredth year anniversary.”

‘No Man’s Land (Green Fields Of France)’  by Joss Stone feat. Jeff Beck is out on November 2nd.

Take part in the campaign, support this great cause by pre ordering the single!
